Golden Hill Farm
Golden Hill Farm is set in the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors, and is only a short drive to the nearby stunning coastline. Owners Karl, Carol and family have created an idyllic location, to escape from busy modern life. The farm sits on 6 acres of farmland in the National Park, and provides a campsite, holiday cottage and bow top caravan holidays.
Golden Hill Farm is a perfect holiday location for families with younger children or couples wanting to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life.
Staying in a bow top gypsy caravan is a novel and charming way to spend a holiday outdoors. Golden Hill Farm has two of these, a larger one to accommodate families and a smaller one more suited to couples.
The campsite at Golden Hill Farm, can accommodate 5 hookups, and up to 10 tents at a time, so they are never overcrowded. It is an ideal location for those not wanting to stay in the less spacious campsites in the heart of Whitby.
Recently refurbished, Golden Hill Farm also has a large holiday cottage, that can accomodate up to 8 people.
In addition to the beautiful location and wide range of accommodation, Golden Hill Farm also has onsite, miniature horses, peacocks, chickens and occasionally rabbits and goats.
In the grounds and gardens you can enjoy the numerous types of wildlife, plants and flowers. Sit out and enjoy the views and fresh air, it feels like another world.

The outstanding Gypsy Caravans are modernised for comfort, but traditionally fitted out for a truly unique and memorable holiday.

Gypsy Caravan 2. - 2 Adults and 1 Child.
Gypsy Caravans £35.00 per night (2 Adults and 2 Children)
The Camping field is open all year round for tents, campervans and caravans. Electric and places are limited and booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Tent pitch £12.00 per night (2 Adults and 2 Children).
Tent Pitch (inc electric) £15.00 per night (2 Adults and 2 Children).
Caravans and Motorhomes (inc electric) £15.00 per night (2 Adults and 2 Children).
Extra Children (Under 16) £2.00 per night. Extra Adults £4.00 per night.
The events field is available for large groups and clubs for camping or events, please get in touch for more details.
Holiday Cottage
The beautiful accommodation, has been carefully designed from the original stone barns, which are separate from the farmhouse.
These luxurious suites provide
There are 2 family rooms, able to accommodate 4 to a room and 2 double bedrooms. All rooms have en-suite facilities and digital television ; there is a dining area and separate kitchen all with views over the farm and North Yorkshire Moors. Pets are welcome.
If you are a large group, you can book a combination of accommodation, so that you can be together and suit everyone’s requirements.

The miniature horses, peacocks, chickens and occasionally rabbits or goats onsite, are always a favourite with children.
